HOPE series is a momentum.
A portrait of a generation facing climate challenges and the more insidious challenge of dictatorship and the end of freedom of thought.
I would like to challenge the new generation, the 20’s who face the future.
Who are you and who will you be?
This series debuted in Hong Kong in 2022 and it has its purpose for the entire millennial generation.
Raised in a perspective of climate catastrophe and crises, since their birth they have heard a discourse which immerses them in a world over which they no longer have any control, in which their individual action seems insignificant in the face of the economic and political powers on the move: « There is no future! »
My statement:
Nothing is written.
Never underestimate who you are and what you can do to change the world !
I refuse to give up. You new generation have all right and necessity to believe that there is still option for a bright future.
Embrace the world with enthusiasm and change it, you have this power.
Otherwise, there is no more light to hope.
Visual Concept :
I wanted to create a portrait in motion, similar as a ballet.
It represents the multiple emotions of the 20 years old generation facing the possibilities of their/our futures.
Each of their choice is world impacting, a challenge for the model but also for all of us as a community.
The dark portraits reflect the uncertainty of their times but each one backs onto a bright colour and a positive thought.
The air goes through as it waves the Tibetan prayers book : the wind unveils and spread the positive attitude.”

La série HOPE est un élan.
Un portrait d’une génération qui fait face aux défis climatiques et à celui plus insidieux de la dictature et de la fin de la liberté de penser.
J'aimerais défier la nouvelle génération, ceux qui ont 20 ans dans nos années 20 et qui affrontent l'avenir.
Qui es-tu, qui seras-tu ?
Cette série a débuté à Hong Kong en 2022 et elle a sa raison d’être pour toute la génération des milléniums.
Elevés dans une perspective de catastrophe climatique et de crises, ils entendent depuis leur naissance un discours qui les immerge dans un monde sur lequel ils n’ont plus prise, dans lequel leur action individuelle semble insignifiante face aux puissances économiques, politiques, en marche : « Il n'y a plus d'avenir ! »
Mon postulat :
Rien n'est écrit.
Ne sous-estimez jamais qui vous êtes et ce que vous pouvez faire pour changer le monde!
Je refuse d'abandonner. Votre nouvelle génération a le droit et la nécessité de croire qu'il existe encore une option pour un avenir radieux. Embrassez le monde avec enthousiasme et changez-le, vous avez ce pouvoir.
Sinon, il n'y a plus de lumière à espérer.
Concept Visuel
Je crée des portraits en mouvement, semblable à un ballet.
Ils représentent les multiples émotions de la génération des 20 ans face aux possibilités de leur/notre avenir.
Chacun de leurs choix a un impact sur le monde, un défi pour le modèle mais aussi pour nous tous en tant que communauté.
Les portraits sombres reflètent l'incertitude de leur époque mais chacun s'appuie sur une couleur vive et une pensée positive.
L'air traverse en agitant le livre de prières tibétain : le vent dévoile et diffuse l'attitude positive.
